He offered to take me home or pay for my Lyft…I declined. I got a Lyft on my own… I lived right next to the coffee shop… literally…
We pulled off at the same time.. he was in front… but he pulled up into my subdivision… but he didn’t go to my house he pulled in the subdivision but turned on the 2nd street..
I felt it was weird because ik he doesn’t live in my neighborhood
He never asked me if I made it home

That is pretty weird that he pulled into your neighborhood like that. A few possibilities:
- He could have just been turning around because he realized he was following you too closely from the coffee shop and didn't want to seem like a creeper.
- Maybe he genuinely lives near there too and it was a coincidence. But still odd he didn't just ask where you were going.
- Part of me wonders if he was trying to sneak a peek at where you live since you declined a ride from him. That would be overstepping.
I wouldn't accuse him of anything right away, but definitely trust your gut feeling that it seemed off. Be aware and cautious, don't give him too many personal details yet. If he does or says anything else that rubs you the wrong way, don't be afraid to set clear boundaries.
For now play it cool and see how he acts next time you interact. Hopefully it was all just a coincidence! But listen to your instincts - they're there to keep you safe. Let me know if anything else weird happens, kay sis? I got your back.
I don’t feel scared but I was curious.. he was in front of me so …
He does live close but he lives 5 miles away
But how could he be snooping to see where I live if I didn’t tell him and he was driving first
I don't know, the whole thing is just weird. If he lives 5 miles away then there's no reason for him to be in your neighborhood at all. And you're right, if he was driving ahead of you the whole time then I don't see how he could have known which street was yours. Unless maybe he was paying really close attention to the route you took once you both pulled out of the coffee shop parking lot.
Some guys can be super creepy and stalkery like that. I'd be willing to believe it was an innocent coincidence, except for all the other suspicious stuff like not checking on you after. Part of me wonders if he might have followed you home before or something so he knew the general area you lived in. I dunno, the not knowing for sure is maybe the scariest part. Just trust your gut - if deep down it doesn't feel right, then there's probably a reason for that feeling even if you can't prove anything concrete.
Maybe keep an eye out the next few times you're out just in case, see if you notice him around. And definitely don't go anywhere private with him again. Better safe than sorry. I know it's probably no big deal, but it never hurts to be cautious, you know? Let me know if anything else weird happens with that guy!
Maybe he knows someone in your neighborhood. So your Lyft followed him to your neighborhood?
Mmm I don't know
Weird. I say coincidence though. Just ask him. Not a big deal.
