Would my boyfriend message a guy he suspects i’m talking to?

Last night I rolled over to see my boyfriend on my phone. I’m not sure what he was doing, when I confronted him he denied going through my phone claiming he doesn’t know my passcode.

He constantly accuses me of still being in love with my ex, even though we are just friends. Today my ex hasn’t responded to any of my messages. Do you think he would message my ex?

Well the fact that you are still friends with your ex is not a good thing , when it comes to jumping into a relationship with someone else , How would you feel if your boyfriend was still friends with his ex and talking to her? Your boyfriend actually has every right to feel suspicious of you and your ex. An ex is an ex for a reason? Exempt them from your life if you want someone to respect you , you need to respect them, it can’t be your way or no way , if you think that way? you will not have any luck in any of your relationships going forward. If you want your relationship to last with your boyfriend you need to eliminate your ex out of your life annd out of respect for your current relationship with your boyfriend , and focus on your boyfriend. Tell your ex that you can no longer talk to him and tell him to move on. If he was such a great guy? He wouldn’t be your ex period

This guy should flee. Only a moron man commits to a woman who keeps ex boyfriends in her life. If you still keep your ex in the picture then this boyfriend is an utter fool to commit to you or take you seriously. You are not girlfriend material.

I need to talk with and give your "boyfriend" advice so he can just dump you and only commit to women that don't expect to have exes around as "friends."

Why would you still care and text your ex? Is he still important for u? I also don’t like my partner to checking my phone, but if my boyfriend cares more about his ex feeling than mine, I would just leave him.


Is okay being friendly with exs, but care too much about why they are not responding my text is weird. Your boyfriend is jealous coz he is insecure about your feeling.

what was the reason he was looking at your phone in the first place? If he didn't have a legitmiate reason then he's probably up to something shady, like snooping

If you're still talking to your ex that could be a problem. I dont see a reason if a girl Im seeing would need to do that. when you break up, forget about that person

why do you even have your ex's phone number to begin with on your phone? if you're just friends, you can meet him on the street somewhere. no need to call him. that's kind of like a betrayal to your current boyfriend.

but hey most women make that mistake and stretch their heads. wondering what's wrong it'll pass eventually, but you're going to have a really big headache over it

My honest opinion is you should cut ties with your ex. It almost never works and creates a strange dynamic that isn't ideal in your current relationship. Move on from the past (and don't give me the "I'm over my ex" story... there's always at least one person that's into the other and has different agendas). Respect your current partner and cut the ties with your ex.

You're talking about two different things here. It would be totally justified if he reaches out your ex.

But he shouldn't do that. Having your ex as your friend is a red flag in itself. It doesn't matter the reason (like literally).
