Why just WHY does he always come back to me somehow after arguments/ misunderstandings etc?

I try to leave his ass the next day he will show up like nothing ever happened all the time, one time after an argument he even said “let’s pretend like nothing ever happened than few days later it was same argument or misunderstanding and I got mad at him called him a butt hole, (yet I apologised and here we are again he trying to speak to me but yea I did apologise but that’s not the fact the problem is before this argument he apologised to me but even when I won’t be apologising or just push him away and pretend like he never existed guess what he still finds ways to come back why does this happen WHY?

Because you allow him back, how isn’t that the obvious answer in your mind? He cannot come back again and again when you adamantly ignore him, not giving him the time of day. I don't know if this is secretly hot or romantic to you, but from an outside view it’s flat out toxic and you should stop engaging with him. Love isn’t everything.

Because it’s convenient and familiar. He knows that he can go back time and time again and you will accept him while other women will not. Especially if you’re having sex with him or have had it in the past that is incentive.
