Guys, if my crush doesn’t like me, why does he keep staring at me?

EVERYTIME I always catch him looking at me. He won’t ever approach me though.

It's weird that he stares but doesn't say anything. A few possibilities:

- He could be shy or unsure if you like him back. Some guys overthink that stuff.

- He may think you're out of his league and is too scared to make a move.

- It's possible he likes the attention of looking but doesn't actually want anything to happen.

- He could just be checking you out even if he's not into you as a girlfriend.

I'd say the next time you catch him, maintain eye contact for a bit and smile. See if that gets any reaction from him. Or you could approach him and ask how's it going in a friendly way. That'll force him out of lurk mode lol. If he still doesn't talk or acts weird, then he's just a lurker. But there's a chance he's just not great at making the first move.
