How does he feel?

I've liked a guy in my class for a while. He's kind, smart, funny, and kinda quiet. The only problem is we don't talk. I told a few friends and it got to him. He never spoke to me about it, but he told mutual friends that he wasn't looking for a relationship. My friends then convinced me to write him an explanation (not love) letter. We didn't speak for the rest of the year. I did start going to my friends church, which also happened to be his. I saw him there a while ago, and he was laughing, smiling, and cracking jokes toward/me me. He also kept staring at me and coming near me. His family (who has never met me) kept looking at and talking to me. I thought I was getting somewhere, but today he's back to not acknowledging me. I'm not sure what to do next or how to understand how he feels.

It also may be worth it to mention that he has female friends that he seems quite comfortable with. I have never seen any of them together alone, but I'm not sure if he has any interest.

Love works in mysterious ways & in life if you never try you will never know & in life if you like someone don’t be afraid to tell them or at least get to know them.

As for your friends they convinced you to write a letter & unfortunately that letter didn’t go so well because the guy in your class didn’t talk to you for the rest of the year.

You had a chance & you blew it however some people believe in second chances.

Go apologize to him for starters & after that give him your phone number & see where things go from there.

You learn to understand how he feels by talking and spending time with him. Him making jokes and his family staring and all that is a waste of time when it comes to what you want.
