Tbh, I wouldn't think anything. I remember, in high school we had a sewing class and one of the star football players was the only boy in it lol yes, we picked on him but he actually made a really cool shirt! He also made a rip off pair of Guess jeans.🤣🤣
It's a good skill for anyone to have, guys too. I would think "Well, now there is a handy guy." Being able to do the basics is really helpful.
Ty for the inspiration!

Nearly all the guys I know can sew to a certain level, there are things like buttons that need sewn on, unit patches etc, minor kit repairs etc. I even know guys that knit and do embroidery. Anyone attempting to attach some form of masculinity to it, is a complete fuckwit.
I had 'Textile' lessons in High School for a couple of years; I hated it... but later in life I have had moments that I wished I had shown a little bit more interest in those lessons.
It's always handy to be able to fix holes in your clothes yourself, or stitch buttons back on properly.
As for Sewing as a hobby for men... It's not my thing, but why not?
Never even crossed my mind. It’s a good thing no? I mean it is a skill and if it means he’ll have to hem something on a whim, he can do it. Besides, it’s a stress relief and quite cathartic for some. I like simple sewing. Nothing fancy but I do usually fix straps on most dresses of mine since their straps tend to be very down.
Soooo attractive
my great grandfather was in ww11 and dd all the sewing and I loved that 💚
It's a useful skill.
What was that book where the protagonist had never seen someone use the sewing kit from a hotel before? Reacher?
What? The woman doesn't have to do EVERYTHING? Hazah!
It's fine. You know, guys who live alone have to learn a few things like cooking. sewing, cleaning and such... otherwise life is $$$$.
I have always been able to just grab a needle and thread and sew single things. What I would like to do, at 56 (yesterday), is learn how to sew with a sewing machine. I would like to learn how to make large blankets.
It’s cute, clever, artsy & crafts, and basic human knowledge skills lmao. It will also be nice to see a man breaking the gender bias to do something that isn’t always seen as “masculine” to society.
Very highly. Guys with domestic skills are good to have around. I can cook, I can build you a house, I wish I knew simpler stuff like this! Oh, I also know NOTHING about cars other that you put has in and it goes...
Hot af especially if they ripped their clothes doing hard work then sew to fix them 🔥🔥
As part of my technical theatre degree I had to take a class in costume construction. I not only patch my own clothes, but some for my wife as well, and I made some blackout curtains for our son's bedroom as well. It really is a handy skill to have
I think they're nice. I used to be a man who crocheted, and my husband is a man who can sew (even tho he doesn't very often lol).
I think it illustrates they are capable of self-control, it's a desirable trait to have !
I think it’s great! I love that guys can sew.
That one guy who is sick of stolen sweaters so he made her partner a custom one.
I would be looking forward to the ugly Christmas sweater :)
Sewing was invented by Pirate's, so that's shit is Gangsta
I call them guys. The ones who do automobile, upholstery, I’ve had a lot of good work done by these guys.
Guys should learn to sew. It might come in handy one day
Believe it or not, the best sewers are guys…
Sewing is one of the few skills I can still pull off.
Isn't sewing a basic talent?
Yeah but SOME people like to make it into a gender based thing. very uncool of them huh?
I think it’s hot!
Good for them for losing a useful skill
I liked losing. lol
@Caroline91 Yes, but it was a typo.
@Caroline91 Indeed.
if you like it then keep doing it man
It's cute.
