I've never personally been hurt by a man, but I feel like I've always hated them for as long as I can remember. I guess it's because everything bad that happens in the world is because of men, even though it's not because of the men I know. Is it wrong for me to hate all men for that reason?
Girl, I can understand why you might feel that way sometimes, with all the bad stuff in the news and stuff. It probably doesn't help that sometimes men do seem kinda clueless or selfish and that gets frustrating.
But hating all men just for being men isn't really fair. Like just cuz something bad happened doesn't mean every single guy is responsible for it or gonna treat you the same way. Most guys are just out here trying to live their lives same as us.
And we all have good and bad inside of us. Trust me, if women ran everything it wouldn't automatically make the whole world sunshine and rainbows either, ya know? Humans be humans.
Maybe instead of hating, try focusing on the nice guys in your life who do treat you with respect. And if one ticks you off, don't assume every man will do the same thing. We're all individuals.
Just keep your guard up a little if it makes you feel safer, but try not to paint us all with one brush - that negative energy ain't good for anyone. Hope this makes sense, girl! Let me know if any part of my perspective helps.
If you were raised in the west you were most likely very negatively influenced and brainwashed by modern feminism to think this way. Misandry is very deeply embedded in public education, the mass media, the entertainment industry, liberal politics and now corporate culture. Also think about when journalists and entertainers refer to the phrase “white males”, is it ever a positive reference?
In fact the mass media is using misandry to push Harris with the whole 2024 presidential election. They keep using headlines saying “Men reject Harris over sexism”. Ah what about men (and women) who could care less about the gender of a presidential candidate and more worried about what really matters: policy.
So anyway this prejudice not surprisingly leads to more and more men getting bitter for being wrongly stereotyped hence they get more misogynistic. It’s further dividing men and women even more. Is this good for anyone?
I don’t know what kind of father you had (or if he was even around). But “daddy issues” is a real thing for a lot of women. Especially the ones being raised by single mothers. Sounds to me you weren’t raised by a positive male role model.
Men have done a lot of shitty things in the world and it's hard to just look past it or not be wary of the stigma. Also I feel like I have far more positive interactions with women vs men (strangers). Not saying I have many negative interactions with men they're just neutral so they don't really balance out enough for me to be more trusting of men. Definitely not asking for change either, it's just unfortunately how the world is.

Your source is 32 years out of date. A lot has changed since then, including the universal recognition that men are victims of abuse too, and women initiate domestic violence more often than men do. That's a well established and accepted fact today, but it wasn't way back when your source was authored.

This is something that I can never subscribe to personally. I’ve had women abuse me physically & emotionally in my life though remembering the kind women I meet online, irl, the friends I made along the way…. I can’t hate women. Same thing with men.
I was always a shy meek quiet boy which made me a target, though I had inner strength. A lot of women stood up for me, my mother is one of them. Those that hate all women, I call them sexist pigs. I won’t call you a pig because you seem genuinely upset by the world you live in and you want a positive change. Just know that you aren’t alone in hating the injustices of the world, just don’t direct it to gender alone… Stand up against all injustices because for every evil man there is an evil woman who needs accountability too.
I don’t spare anyone from criticism, not one person from criticism. Just know I respect your opinion though I won’t hold a grudge to all members of a group, it isn’t in my nature.

Many bad things that happen in the world are actually because of women, but you likely grew up in the USA where the school system tries to encourage hate for men by subtly saying bad things about men and boys from as early as elementary school. They often assign bad traits to male characters in literature that students read too because the majority of teachers are liberal and purposely choose literature with an anti-male, anti-American, and sometimes anti-Christian theme or undertone.
