I would ignore all of it. Social media is meaningless.
Nah, just let him here and ignore him or you feel like you wanna unfollow, just go ahead..

I understand but wouldn't it be weird if I just randomly unfollowed him?
If you have talked to him a lot it would. How long have you known him?
I haven't talked to him in a while. He sent me a couple of messages trying to take me on a date. I've known him for years but we had a bad falling out. He followed me on social media and then I followed him back.
In that case why not just let him know you haven’t talked to him much and wish him well
What was the bad falling out?
He liked me and he felt I was playing games with him so he initiated this argument and we didn't talk for years after that
