You like what you like. Just like some girls are way more into guys stuff than others. Take me for example. I'm not really a girly girl. I liked hunting growing up and working on stuff with my dad. To this day I still do the minor maintenance on my jet ski like changing oil, filter and spark plugs. I don't think it makes me any less of a girl. My interests just might not be the same as most girls. So much like that there will be guys that are really into Disney. I don't have a problem with it because I'm not the type that shames what people like. If that is what you are into then enjoy it. No one is to say it is wrong even tho lots will try to say it. People like what they like.

An obsession is an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind. Now that is something that would be considered unhealthy in psychology because it can develop into something that obliterates the judgment. To me, it is the first step towards addiction and that is a serious health issue.

You can be a fan of something or somebody without obsessing over these likings. The same applies to any kind of addictions, be it gambling, drugs, sex/pornography or even something that appears to be harmless at first.

If someone likes Disney characters or is obsessed about collecting miniature alcohol bottles, it is their prerogative as long as they harm no one else and they have themselves under control or don't involve people that do not share their liking or obsession.

What happens in the confines of their 4 walls does not interest me and is none of my business.
