Why do guys play mind games?

Why do guys act like they love you and want to be with you only to turn around treat you like you're nothing. Why because there was no instant gratification? So they move on to the next girl? And he wonders why I didn't believe him when he said he was only interested in me. No other woman.

Women play mind games too and there can be many reasons as to why someone plays these games.

One is that they cannot communicate like a adult, maybe you did something that upset him or he has some concern about you. But instead of addressing it like a adult it’s just cutting you off.

The other thing is yes absolutely he maybe didn’t get something from you a example of that is sex but it can be something else as well. He didn’t get what he wanted so he’s off to the next girl or whatever snake in the grass that will sleep with him. Be glad that man isn’t wasting your time long term if you’re looking for a genuine connection.

For the same reason women just flirt with guys for attention. Then drop them flat and move on when they grow bored with it. A guy cannot turn a hoe into a housewife. And a woman is not going to get genuine good treatment from a man who does not really value her.

Make better choices hun. I mean you can continue to come on to G@G and whine about it. But that isn't going to fix your problem.

Same reason women do. For control and power. To make themselves feel good. You don't have to participate. You say you have a child with him. Limit your communication to only things in regard to your child. Take a step back and look at things objectively to help you stay in a neutral attitude toward him and then you won't get pulled in. He can't do anything to you mentally that you don't allow him to. Take control of yourself.

Guys "mind games" revolve around telling the woman what they want and the woman trying to twist it to mean something else.

Guy: "Hey babe, I'm running to the store. Need anything?"

Gal: "Why is he leaving without me? Is he angry? I must've forgotten something. I did nothing wrong. He's going to hear about this when he gets home. I'm going to accuse him of not loving me anymore. Forget that, I'm calling my ex and getting him to come over while he's at work tomorrow."

Could be fear of commitment, initially they can push past the fear and it finally gets the best of them. I have questions for you also to provide a better answer. How often is this happening and do you notice any patterns? Are you referring to men you are in a committed relationship with or just casual dating? If it's casual, not putting all your eggs in one basket is generally good advice and coming on too strong could be a possible reason. Men are generally simple not complicated but there are some that play games and stay away from them. I'm indifferent to women that play games and I just walk away from them

Men used to have to make a commitment to a woman for sex. That was courtship and marriage. Women wanted equality and freedom. This is what equality and freedom looks like. Men still want sex. But they don't have to make a commitment anymore, they just bullshit their way in.
