Guys, Why do some men play mind games?

I’m a pretty smart woman but when it comes to men I’m oblivious to their behavior. Why do men act like they don’t know what the problem is when they clearly do? Or deflect if they feel rejection coming? I’ve only managed to like one guy in my life. A guy told me that this person wants me “in my feelings” but it makes me not want to talk and I’d like to talk at the same time. I’m all screwed up in the head now.

- This sounds like you want to act a certain way to show him that you're upset and you want him to know it without saying it, and he is actually smart enough to act like he doesn't know so that maybe you will be an adult and communicate to him with words why you're upset or what he did. He wants to make you say it, which is a good thing.

- If he can feel rejection coming that also makes him pretty smart. Not sure if he's really deflecting though, or that's just how you're labeling it.

Lol I’ve expressed the way that I felt before but not too much detail. He ran when he saw me afterwards. Now when we talk he acts as if he doesn’t know what the problem is. Believe me he does… he’s not used to rejection

Could be lack of confidence, and doesn’t know himself. Just ask him if he has trouble talking to women. Just my advice, I had issues talking to women.

They lack the mental and emotional capacity to be a decent partner but they want the attention and validation that they are desired by women and they want to show off to their male friends that they still got it. It's all about themselves. They should be ignored and avoided at all costs. Let them be, let them feel inadequate because they are.
