I struggle to make female friends and it seems like only men are interested in spending time with me?

I never got the point. It's too much effort to pay attention to and orbit someone just to wait for an opportunity to get in their pants as opposed to meeting more women who won't friend zone you.

On the flip side of that I did use women who said they didn't like me like that in one way or another to flesh out groups to hit on other women and found that most of them who want you as a friend will very quickly distance or turn outright hostile if you truly do treat them as one rather than a potential partner.

Except for the getting into my pants thing, I know what that's like. I haven't had ANY friends in at least 5 years! Okay, one guy graciously takes me to the store and food bank once or twice a month but, that's it. The rest of the time, I'm 100% alone except for the bunnies in the front yard.

Think about your previous relationships with women. How often did they take priority when you were in a romantic relationship? What’s your relationship like with your mother? How did your mother handle relationships with her female friends alongside her boyfriend/husband? If you can examine those, you might be able to find the source and explanation as to why you struggle to befriend women and work on changing that if a female friendship is what you want

Not a bad thing, girls can be toxic towards one another. I found a lot of great girls who used to mainly hang around with guys. Anyway, you'll find out it's quality over quantity when it comes to friends.

For men this is the reason, Men used to have to make a commitment to a woman for sex. That was courtship and marriage. Women wanted equality and freedom. This is what equality and freedom looks like. I can't speak for the women.
