I work an overnight position. Most of my co workers are women and we have a few guys. The guys in the department are cool. I don’t see them as more than co workers, I see some as my little brother because they’re younger me. From time to time I will catch them attempting to flirt but I’m good at dodging it and keeping it friendly but some will keep trying , especially the ones younger than me. Today at work one of my male younger co workers, as we were talking about work and management, randomly decided to go off topic and said “I feel like I can show/tell you this because you’re quiet. You’re cool.” Then he pulls out a bunch of $100 dollar bills and started counting them in front of me. Saying “This isn’t work money.” I just smiled and nodded my head because it was awkward after that.
Some men believe money impresses all women because of societal conditioning and stereotypes that link wealth to status, success, and security. Media often reinforces this idea, portraying affluent men as more desirable. This belief may also stem from an assumption that financial stability is a universal priority, as money can offer comfort and opportunities. However, not all women are swayed by wealth alone. Many prioritize emotional connection, shared values, and personality traits over material success. While money may attract some, it’s rarely the sole factor in building meaningful, lasting relationships. True connections often go beyond financial status.

1 yI'm guess you would agree with me that flashing money around is only going to 'attract' a certain kind of woman. ... and that attraction isn't going to be for his good looks or his intelligence.
Oh yeah, it impresses certain women, but not the women I want to fuck with.
Reminds me of the day I made rank in the military... like 3 chicks that never even were all that friendly suddenly tried to seduce me. I have rules though... no American or Military chicks.
So I was just like what the fuck? It was like the command was trying to burn me by making that shit publicly known. I know exactly what kind of chick suddenly wants to hang out just because I got a pay raise. Fuck that shit, I'm out.

I guess it's because they think that all women are gold diggers which is not true.
The other day I was talking to a guy and he said that he couldn't get a girlfriend because women are only interested in rich men. This question reminded me of him. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🙄🙄

Not many men with a lot of money will flash money. That is not necessary because people already know that they have money. In fact, wealthy men have a lot more money than they could carry in $100 bills.
Regardless, it is a fact that all women are impressed by money.

What Girls & Guys Said

1.7K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Because most females’ only want a guy that has money , so guys’ tend to think Money will impress her if he shows it off to her. Me personally wouldn’t want to be with a girl that was only after my money , I want a girl that wants my heart not my wallet. When a girl starts asking me about my finances and asks about how much money do I make etc. I lose interest in her because I know she is only after my money and what I can possibly provide for her. So I mainly only date girls’ that are independent that can take care of themselves that want a team partner that we both work together to have things together. Unfortunately I ended up with some user girls’ that quit their jobs and assumed I would support them , little did they realize I walked the other way. So guys’ that flash money to a girl thinks he will impress her and thinks she would want him because he has a wad of cash.
30 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Materialistic guys attract materialistic women. Those guys see women as commodities. And woman's looks are the commodity. To them, everything is a transaction. A woman is no different than a flashy, luxury car. They have no clue about values, morals or character because they lack those things.
And yes, there are women who think that way, too. But most women? Hardly. All a person has to do is get off-line and out into the real world to find that out.
Naturally, few women want to date a lazy bum. But that's not the same as chasing assholes just because they are rich.20 Reply- 4.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
u 1 yGuys who fail at dating often convince themselves that they fail because they don't have enough money to impress women. That means that they don't need to take responsibility for their own failures. Unfortunately, some of these butthurt boys spew this nonsense on the internet, and other gullible boys believe every word of it.

You nailed it. It's often well I didn't get what I wanted so it's definitely not me it has to be that women are just unreasonable. Then proceed to move the goal posts so far back as a reason for why they can't score. Then it becomes "All women bad"
1.5K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. GUILTY OF IT MYSELF in my younger years. Sort of. Except I've always been broke.
I saw how money has bought girls and women. I saw how men bought their women. I saw how the "pinks of GAG" were more or less equally split on "men should pay" and "going dutch". What am I supposed to think of it after what I saw?

Although I must say the execution of these boys is terrible. Counting Ben Franklin on multiple pieces of green paper in front of women. Sure, if that boy is looking to buy a gold digger, that's one way to do it. Of course "money impresses women" because boys like him are advertising nothing other than that, watch staged gold digger prank videos on youtube and think the "girls" in those gangster rapper music videos like 6ix9ine shows off are how girls overall are.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yWell you do often see women going after men who make good money. Some of them openly admit to their gold digging. And most men have personally encountered a woman or two romantically who care about money.
From an evolutionary perspective it does make sense that women seek out men who have the means to protect and provide for them. There was a time in history that the mate she choose and married would directly impact her very livelihood.
In modern western society this is no longer necessary. Yet we can’t defy thousands of years of evolution with 50 years of feminism. So many women subconsciously care a lot about money regardless if it’s fair/realistic or not.
So don’t be surprised that men notice this. Maybe you aren’t a gold digger but a lot do women are. And women will go as far as prostituting their bodies on onlyfans for a quick buck. Money speaks.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yBecause money does impress women. It's a well established fact that a man who has resources is more attractive. That has always been the case.
There was a study done where women were shown pictured of guys and they rated each one's physical attractiveness. Then they were told each man's financial status, and if they were told the guy had a lot of money or his profession was a high-income one, the very same guy who they initially rated say a 5, was then rated a 7 or 8. Remember we're talking PHYSICAL attractiveness here.
So yeah, there's no question money impresses women.
10 ReplyOn a surface level because it works, but not in a way that they understand it, discovery always trumps disclosure. Women are attracted to guys who have the capability and value to be big earners. And money also helps men get over things that they were not born with eg. height.

1 yDon't know but day by day the society is going money driven or lifestyle driven, in my experience girls are asking guys salary and no of owned houses he has
People now don't want true love they chase money and comfortable lifestyle - many of the guys are having this perception
This is not wrong as its happening in society, but people should understand that money can't buy everything, people should enjoy life as a journey rather than just marrying for thr purpose of money00 Reply- 2.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
1 yBecause it DOES! Look at how many of them are golddiggers!! I nearly married one!! After 10 years together, she dropped me for some guy that makes a little more than me by picking through other peoples' garbage, taking pictures of it and selling the pictures to people as art!

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yBecause a lot of women are impressed by it. They like materials. Money buys said materials. Most women won’t get w a man especially in a serious relationship unless he has finances. If that was so they wouldn’t have problems being the bread winner and paying all the bills while he stayed home. That’s the same reason most women won’t date down, but men have no problem w her making way less then him or not even working.

1 yBecause of how many times we see it open doors with women.
Getting passed the idea that almost nothing is true of all members of any group of people, the reality is that money really DOES open a buttload of doors with LOTS of women. It happens often enough that giving a woman a slight idea that you can be a good provider is safe dating advice.
00 Reply There are many kinds of gold diggers...

But as soon as that money's gone...
00 ReplyBecause all rich men have no problem finding relationships so we think if we got rich any girl were to be to our side and generally speaking being rich means you have no problem finding a partner you could refuse but a lot of other women would agree
00 ReplyIt does more often than not. Women are interested in men who can provide resources. It's natural. Flaunting wealth is an easy way to get attraction/ attention from women so men do it. It won't work every time, but it works enough to be replicated.
10 ReplyThey probably failed at dating and thought probably showing off money would catch your attention. Unfortunately, some dudes think all women are gold diggers.
20 ReplyDont worry about those guys. We have an expression pig always gonna find the mud. Meaning if he is flashing the money then he is attracting certain kind of people (women). And later he is gonna find out that those women were only after his money and call them gold diggers etc.
00 Reply662 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Money does impress the majority of women. And the main reason women often aren't interested in co-workers is because they usually make close to the same amount of money and most women only want men that make more than them.
