I work an overnight position. Most of my co workers are women and we have a few guys. The guys in the department are cool. I don’t see them as more than co workers, I see some as my little brother because they’re younger me. From time to time I will catch them attempting to flirt but I’m good at dodging it and keeping it friendly but some will keep trying , especially the ones younger than me. Today at work one of my male younger co workers, as we were talking about work and management, randomly decided to go off topic and said “I feel like I can show/tell you this because you’re quiet. You’re cool.” Then he pulls out a bunch of $100 dollar bills and started counting them in front of me. Saying “This isn’t work money.” I just smiled and nodded my head because it was awkward after that.

Not many men with a lot of money will flash money. That is not necessary because people already know that they have money. In fact, wealthy men have a lot more money than they could carry in $100 bills.

Because most females’ only want a guy that has money , so guys’ tend to think Money will impress her if he shows it off to her. Me personally wouldn’t want to be with a girl that was only after my money , I want a girl that wants my heart not my wallet. When a girl starts asking me about my finances and asks about how much money do I make etc. I lose interest in her because I know she is only after my money and what I can possibly provide for her. So I mainly only date girls’ that are independent that can take care of themselves that want a team partner that we both work together to have things together. Materialistic guys attract materialistic women. Those guys see women as commodities. And woman's looks are the commodity. To them, everything is a transaction. A woman is no different than a flashy, luxury car. They have no clue about values, morals or character because they lack those things.

And yes, there are women who think that way, too. But most women? Hardly. All a person has to do is get off-line and out into the real world to find that out.

Naturally, few women want to date a lazy bum. But that's not the same as chasing assholes just because they are rich.

Well you do often see women going after men who make good money. Some of them openly admit to their gold digging. And most men have personally encountered a woman or two romantically who care about money.

From an evolutionary perspective it does make sense that women seek out men who have the means to protect and provide for them. There was a time in history that the mate she choose and married would directly impact her very livelihood.

In modern western society this is no longer necessary. Yet we can’t defy thousands of years of evolution with 50 years of feminism. So many women subconsciously care a lot about money regardless if it’s fair/realistic or not.

So don’t be surprised that men notice this. Maybe you aren’t a gold digger but a lot do women are. And women will go as far as prostituting their bodies on onlyfans for a quick buck. Money speaks.

Because money does impress women. It's a well established fact that a man who has resources is more attractive. That has always been the case.

There was a study done where women were shown pictured of guys and they rated each one's physical attractiveness. Then they were told each man's financial status, and if they were told the guy had a lot of money or his profession was a high-income one, the very same guy who they initially rated say a 5, was then rated a 7 or 8. Remember we're talking PHYSICAL attractiveness here.

So yeah, there's no question money impresses women.

Because a lot of women are impressed by it. They like materials. Money buys said materials. Most women won’t get w a man especially in a serious relationship unless he has finances. If that was so they wouldn’t have problems being the bread winner and paying all the bills while he stayed home.
