He said to me “I don’t really talk to people I don’t like” and said how he hates small talk and can’t be “fake nice” to people… I don’t get whether he’s trying to hint at something or whether he’s just saying that 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Man don't generally spend time where they aren't interested. If you are interested, give him some definite signs that you are then, if he is interested, he will make a move that let's you know what his interest level is.
