Why would he ask how man guys I slept with on vacation?

The guy I’ve been seeing messaged me while I was on vacation. asking me “how man guys I’ve slept with”. I replied with “it’s crazy you think i’ll do that” and he didn’t respond after that. Why would he randomly ask me that?

Because he is insecure and thinks you are up to no good , by you going on a vacation without him , Sadly this sort of thing happens in a lot of relationships, and it happens from both sexes , I have experienced it from girls’ multiple times and I have got insecure as well when my partner went away with out me as well , it pretty much stems down from out own personal insecurities , some people assume you are cheating on them and assume you aren’t telling them the truth about what you are actually doing on vacation. Which sadly some people do cheat , when they are away from their partner and assume they can get away with it. I can’t tell you how many times I was on vacation with friends’ and I ended up hooking up with some girl that I met there and had sex with to find out she has a boyfriend or husband back at home waiting for her after we had sex . So the thing is , we can’t stop anyone from cheating on us , if they are going to cheat they are going to cheat one way or another. Your boyfriend either has been cheated on before, or he heard plenty of horror stories of people cheating while they are on vacation. Making him feel like you might be up to no good. Unfortunately it does happen. So for whatever reason your boyfriend doesn’t trust you 100 percent , and thinks you are up to no good. Why couples shouldn’t really take opposite vacations from each other. Opposite vacations sadly can be a sign that one of you is drifting from the other especially if all of a sudden you need space from that person when you never did before. Some people are fine with it , and some people aren’t fine with it. So the best thing for you to do is to reassure your boyfriend that you love him and care about him and that you aren’t cheating on him , if you want your relationship to survive with him , I don’t really know your relationship with him , so it’s hard to give you actual advice of what to do , because by him saying what he said to you about How many guys’ have you slept with? might be an indication that he is cheating on you and projecting his insecurities on to you, to make you seem like you are the bad one and he is the good one . I don’t want to give you the wrong advice whatsoever , so unfortunately this can go both ways. So my advice is to not get upset at him and talk to him in a respectful tone and tell him you love him and he has nothing to worry about but also tell him you find it disrespectful that you don’t trust me for whatever reason. If he gets mad and defensive over your comment , then get mad back and hang up on his ass , if he says I’m sorry and tells you why he is sorry then hear him out , he is probably just missing you and doesn’t want to lose you and hates being apart from you. Also , does he go on vacations without you?

Probably because many women do cheat when they go on vacation without their SO. That is often the main point of a girls trip (same as girls night out). Who did you go on the vacation with? Was it with family/relatives, or a group of women friends?

And the people that blame it all on insecurity are the same types that think having a mandatory paternity/DNA test at birth is insecure, even though a third of all paternity tests have come back negative. (1/3 of those women cheated AND committed fraud against the man).
