I’ve been talking to a guy for a few months. Things started out pretty good until he started to display red flags. The honeymoon and love bombing phase had finally come to an end and we went from getting along to him completely treating me like trash so i left.
I guess he felt me stripping my energy back from him and would begin finding reasons to text me again and calling me pet names as if we were still together. I would make it clear several times that I didn’t want him calling me that considering we weren’t together but he still continued.
The other day, he texted me yet again pretending to form a conversation and acted like he was just checking on me just to tell me how he had found a new girl and all this stuff that I of course did not even ask about. He started telling me how pretty she is and how she gives him so much peace, etc. I just continued to be encouraging yet still short because again I didn’t want to talk. He then asked me quote: “what do you think about me”? I replied back that I had no answer for that and he got upset and said that he wouldn’t text me again.
Come that next day, which was yesterday he texts me again asking me if I could loan him money and I told him to ask his girlfriend. He continued to go back and forth which led to huge argument with him throwing jabs at my character and even my physical appearance and constantly comparing his girlfriend to me. The entire time I just laughed at him and asked him why he was even texting me in the first place instead of his girl. I tried to convince him several times to block me as anyone would do who truly doesn’t like someone and his response was “I’ll do what I want, I don’t have to block you” while still proceeding to tell me to go away and calling me derogatory terms.
why do men do everything but leave? Keep in mind I’m not hurt at all by the situation because I’ve already lost feelings for him but if anything this just makes me more curious of the male mindset.
