Well, the sad truth is that's pretty common. Relationships, especially for a man, can be really expensive and we're in a bad economy at the moment. So you're both right, there. If they can't afford the financial strain and if your main interest in a relationship is having a man buy things for you, then it's in best of your both interests to avoid each other.

But if you're only concern is companionship, then I think you'll find a lot of men are looking for the same.
