Hanging out as friends?

Not sure how to interpret this but I’ve been good friends with this guy for some time now and we hang out once in a blue moon. Him and I are attracted towards each other. One night we’re watching a movie and I catch him playing with my hair and staring at me. This isn’t the first time he’s done this. We’re both affectionate towards each other. I regret not asking him why he’s staring at me. I’m not sure what is going through his mind. I also don’t feel uncomfortable at all. Sometimes I feel he pushes back with wanting to pursue something with me. Ever since that I’ve been thinking about it.

While I think this girl likes me, she also has said she just doesn't want a relationship right now. If you are truly into him, and want to go out on a real date, ask him out, or get him to ask you out. Sometimes, it just helps to have "the talk" about what you want right now. When we both started talking him and i had the talk and being friends was the best option for something to grow. I don’t want to be pushy about this subject because I don’t want to push him away. We both want marriage and kids.
