Guy's Behavior

He shows nearly all signs that he likes me, but said months ago that he doesn’t?

He often looks at me with a soft sort of “in love” face when talking to me, like he’s in a trance whilst speaking to me, soft smile and soft eyes.
he laughs at my jokes and tries to make me laugh. He’s gotten erections around me and blushes a lot. and he used to be extremely nervous around me, but now seems more relaxed and calm and he tells me personal things about his life, the other day he said how his cousin had died and I showed him sympathy and tried to make him feel better. I think he’s slightly autistic and we relate well, I think we seem to understand each other really well because he seems himself around me and will say whatever is on his mind and knows I won’t judge him.

However! He rarely ever initiates contact but always responds well when I do. And doesn’t seem to want to meet up outside of things. He’s 47 and he’s my guitar teacher just for more info. Is it possible he’s just flirting back a bit because he knows that I’ll keep spending money on guitar lessons with him? He seems like a decent person and the fact that I fancy him has motivated me to do better. He’s also recently divorced and has a son.

Only recently has the “in love” stares been happening and the other signs have gotten stronger. It’s just confusing as hell.
