He doesn’t admit liking me?

So this guy and I have been talking for a while now. He doesn’t admit that he likes me, whenever I ask him he is like some things are not meant to be said and I need to understand them on my own. He even tells me that he is not talking to others girls and that I can check up on him on video call anytime, that he is not dating anyone. He explain to me if he doesn’t call or text. When I ask him why would you want me to do these things as I’m not his girlfriend, he doesn’t say anything. He is a bit egoistical. Could it be because of that he never admits anything?

Look he may not actually like you, cause when he says that somethings are not meant to be said, he probably means he likes you physically, and doesn't really wants to get into a relationship with you.
