He doesn't like me?

I confessed my feelings to a guy who I went on dates with (after a year) and he lied to me saying he doesn't like me, he sees me as a friend then said no I never saw this as a friendship, you aren't an acquaintance and how my text to stop talking made him very angry.

I asked him if he doesn't like me then why did my text to stop talking to each other make him angry but he refused to tell me the actual reason.

He also denied staring at me when he used to stare at me all the time and even said mentioned it once before that he liked to watch me in red outfits.

I told him that we should stop talking to each other because of how he has behaved with me and he refused saying he has no opinion over this or how he will talk to me when he wants and won't, when he doesn't want.

I had enough so I told him that we cannot continue like this and he got angry and said ok from now onwards we won't say anything to each other.
Now when he sees me, he avoids coming face to face with me. I deleted his number and archived our chats on Whatsapp in hopes he will also delete it but yesterday, when I re-added him, I could see his last seen (which is open to his contacts only).

I dont understand. When he doesn't like me or care for me, why doesn't he delete me off and move on? I told him that if we are nothing then you can delete me but he didn't.

What can be the reason for this?

Because he isn’t into you and you keep pushing it. Even if he was into you. There is probably a reason or another why he doesn’t want to take things further.

If you keep pushing it he very well might rightfully delete you.


Maybe he sees you as a friend and you seriously need to let it go. He clearly isn’t interested in you. Otherwise he would have said yes to you.

I didn't push it. I was the one who asked to stop talking and he said he got angry by my text to stop talking

Well. I think you’re both bring immature. If you tell him to leave you alone and he won’t. Then tell him he’s blocked.

But. You keep trying to say he likes you when he clearly has said he does not.

He was always leaving me on read and I finally told him that if he doesn't want to meet or talk I won't bother him anymore. He was then asked me to come and see him at 3 pm and when I did, he was sitting with a group of people in front of whom he acted like he had no idea that I was going to come and looked shocked.
The argument began from there but anyway I told him my feelings and then he began saying why it bothers me how he acted in front of them, its all in my head, how I think everyone's out to get me etc

Then find someone else. He probably legitimately does not like you.

You probably want better don’t you? Someone who you know for sure is into you. Don’t you? And you don’t have to guess and go through cycles of thinking he likes you and think if he don’t.
