guess what girl. Men leave flowers by the stairs because men don’t want flowers. He “didn’t have his shit together”? More like you made a silly move buying a male anything let alone flowers. There's a popular saying: "The first flowers a man receives will be at his funeral."

While the spirit of this is true, in that it's common for men to buy gifts for women, but rarely the other way, it doesn't necessarily mean that we literally want flowers.

Most men would be ecstatic to receive some token of affection from a woman, flowers aren't generally the best choice. If you want to buy your guy a gift, get him something that shows you know him.

What are his hobbies? What does he like to do? If he likes to read: buy him a book. If he's a golfer, buy him a pack of golf balls. If he likes video games, buy him some DLC, etc.
