For us girls in our late twenties or beyond, at what point does attention from an older man get problematic and weird?

In my early twenties, I mostly hung out with guys and girls my age: friends, fellow students… you get the picture. As you get a bit older, and maybe more so when you move away from the area you were born in, interactions with men are different. You meet a lot of them at work, some are your bosses, some just colleagues. You meet people on the subway or train back home, some will chat with you, most don’t. At what age would you say it becomes weird or downright creepy to have a man show interest in you? My limit is when a guy is old enough to be my father, I tend to be very distant, maybe without a clear reason.

What are your thoughts on this?

There are no rules other than the ones you set for yourself. Some women prefer much older guys, some prefer younger ones, others want guys to be within a particular age range.

Old enough to be your father is a good limit. 10 years older than my daughter is mine.

It's problematic if he makes it awkward or acts inappropriately. It's not she specific for me, more just down to his actions.
