I'd venture to guess this isn't exclusive to women. Both men and women seem to have this challenge. I think people have far more options these days, and with more options it becomes harder to make a decision. If you can have a date within 4 hours of a breakup, people start to feel disposable.

It takes a lot of time and life experience to be able to recognize when someone is irreplaceable. Not everyone is willing to venture that deep due to the risk of being hurt. But life hurts. That's reality. The good news is that there is a life after being hurt, and being hurt - devastated, even - is the only way we can know our own strength and grow.

As for why people can't find love; it's similar to why people can't be rich or don't have diamonds: It requires time, energy, and personal risk. We can't strike gold by browsing the internet, and in the same way, finding a lasting relationship with a worthwhile person is fairly hit and miss without some intentionality and planning. That's my thoughts on it, anyway. :D

mostly because everyone has a different timing... different experiences and patterns imprinted in childhood... different personality... a million of factors...

in the end some find ther niche and thrive and some need a lot of work put on them before they start to succeed... and some are waiting for a prince on the white horse... :D

I think it’s because of the current culture. Nowadays many people (not just women) can’t handle relationships because they have unrealistic expectations of how real life is. There’s a huge problem of communication as well. For the most part dating apps suck and it’s becoming way more difficult to find genuine love and connection.
