No. My parents lived with dad's parents `til he was in his early 40's and I lived with mine in the same house `til I was in my late 50's. I'd STILL be in that house, as mom intended, had it not been for my fucking greedy asshole ex-sisters, may they slide under a Mack truck and taste their own blood and then rot in hell where they belong!! I only hope the hurricanes took the older one's new house in the Carolinas!! I hope she lost her life!! The world does NOT need cunts like that walking around!!

I don’t thinks much for women. I think it’s still acceptable even though a lot of women claim to be strong n independent. For a man yes. I was out of my parent’s house by the time I turned 18, off to the military then some years later back on my own in the city w my own apartment n car. I could see if a man went home for a few months, something going on. It might not be so bad if he was taking care of his parents too. I think it’s more acceptable for women to do it. Maybe it’s ok for a boy for a few more years, up to 20, maybe 21. But by than I think he should someway be established

Sounds like very good sense if your single and help around the home some. Great way for you to maybe be able to save some money for future things like buying a home someday etc.

No, especially in this day and age where the economy is crumbling. BUT, if you have the finances and such to be able to live on your own? I don't see or understand why you'd still want to live under your parents roof though.

Strange wouldn't be the right word. I moved out at 18 and got married at 23. I don't see the appeal of living at home instead of starting your own life.

I bought my second house by 24.

I was on my own by 17.

But, that being said I don't think it's weird, it's just a choice you make. I wanted to leave the nest and get on my own.

Not at all as long as you are helping to take care of everything. Not just mooching off of them.

Not strange at all, there are people over 30 who live with their parents.
