How to handle catcalling thay becomes harassment?

Everyday on my way to work a older man will be catcalling me. And it's not like oh you look beautiful or you look pretty. It's like raunchy catcalling and very obnoxious. I at first didn't pay much attention. But it just kept going day after day. And it makes me feel very uncomfortable. I finally said something and I was very straightforward and told him to f off and leave me alone. But it won't end. It just keeps happening. No matter what I say ot wear. Every day he harasses me. And I can't take it anymore. I don't know what to do. And I have heard police don't really take stuff like this serious. What can I do.

Some people cannot take no for a answer. Not everyone who says something though is harassing not everyone is that way. But unfortunately for those who are they refuse to take a hint. I appreciate the fact you bluntly told him to fuck off.

But these people are desperate and they have very little self control. For some odd reason or another they think if they keep doing it they will get the reaction they want.

If you need to you can file a police report. Just saying hi to someone isn’t harassment. But if someone keeps bothering someone after being told to stop it could be crossing the line.

Yea if it was just saying hi how's it going or something or just looking that would be one thing. But it's so uncomfortable

I get what you’re saying especially if you can sense there is other intentions behind it. Maybe gramps was a stud back in the day and thinks he still got it. Idk… But In all seriousness you probably have a good feeling.

There are some people who take things the wrong way and others who are too Naïve. But you probably know when something is innocent enough and when it’s not.

Most normal people leave people alone after being told to stop though

Yea. That's what I don't understand how people keep trying and trying after point blank being told hey I'm not interested. But it sucs a lot bc there's not really another way I can go without majorly inconviencing myself.

It’s hard to say other then their minds don’t think normally. I’m sure if someone told you to “fuck off” you wouldn’t care to talk to them. Like why bother someone who doesn’t even like you?

But. I think some of it is that they used to have a lot of sex… But they are old now and it doesn’t work anymore (no pun intended) they become desperate and aren’t happy with their wives.
