What does it mean if a a negger (a guy who negs me) stopped giving me attention at work?

I actually wanted to have a direct convo about things like why I ignored him and I wanted to say sorry for cutting him off that way and wanted to tell him that his negging is extremely hurtful and to stop. But instead I can’t find the right time to bring these things up so it’s just been silent between us aside from the occasional interaction like if he offers to help me with something. Plus I don’t want to risk letting him Back in and then he does the negging again; I have no idea if he’s even sorry for doing that to me or will change at all, everything’s just up in the air now. I wish he would just have the balls to say sorry first.

on the plus side, since we don’t talk much anymore, IM NO LONGER GETTING NEGGED. that’s awesome. For my self esteem. So if he never says sorry and tries to make amends, I still have this plus side to it.
