A guy co worker of mines texted me and said he “Loved me” does he more than likely mean it in a friendly way?

I believed it to be innocent until I told my bestfriend about it and she said it wasn’t as innocent as I’m believing it was because he wouldn’t have had to explain himself any further after saying it if he meant in a friendly way.

I mean he goes on to tell you that he loves you and he only wishes the best for you when behind closed doors because he's only going to take a minute or two and then they're going to heat up some smores

I believe his method is to get me to like him lol. He does things like always randomly calling girls pretty when I’m right there or sometimes he’ll ask me if a girl he likes is pretty. When he obviously knows she is lol. The most he ever told me directly, no idea what he has said when I’m not around, was that I look good. The other day he told me if I decided to become a supervisor, the guy workers would be all over me because, in his words “I’m not ugly”. lmaoo whatever that means. So he’s not direct with me about my beauty or anything but he’s very direct about other women and their beauty when around me which seems intentional lol.

Oh and after that message he sent another one saying “With people like you. I wouldn’t want to ruin a good friendship. It wouldn’t be worth it.”

No I knew just by the way that he wrote it I could feel it in his words he was trying to say something without saying it and he did a pretty good job I just wanted to write you a poem that's all I felt like it so I did it and the funny part of it is after I push send the next two questions I answered I think I answered I'm kind of a rhyme I thought it was quite funny

And as I was writing that rhyme or that thing whatever it is to you I kept thinking about I hope she shows him this so he will take the next step to go a little bit deeper LOL not the mines any better than his I just felt mine more I was just being a smart-ass and having fun and thank you for being so cool and kind about it but he should have said you had a sweetheart too

Yea. He’s a cool guy and from my understanding I assumed we had established that we had more of a sister and brother relationship. Only because he’s younger than me. He’s attractive but once I found out his age I decided to leave it at us just being cool. I assumed he did too because he has made comments about me seeing him as a brother but as my friend said why would he have to explain that if he is okay with it? He also always randomly mentions women he’s currently talking to. He has shown me pictures of him with a woman who he says he’s currently on and off with. He went into a deep explanation about how they broke up. I just assumed he’s just the type of guy to be open and honest. Which he is but I think to some extent it has nothing to do with his realness but more so to see where my head is with him. Like wondering if I would react to him mentioning other women, calling other women pretty or him showing me pictures of him with other women. Which I don’t react to. I just typically tell him if the girl in conversation is pretty or not. I may give advice if he ask but that’s it.
