Does it mean anything if a guy likes a girls post?

So I’m into this guy we met in the beginning of the year and we only spoke last semester since we had one class together and text now and then he would wait for me after class or before when we arrived at the same time but I do not know if social media is a big thing now I’ve noticed he’s been liking other girls post on instagram and I am not sure if he’s attracted to them?

I would say this is a red flag, probably even crimson or very deep red.

A guy that likes posts of random women is a guy that seeks to contact them in the hope to start something. It is like sowing seeds. You plant a great number of them in the hope that a few will germinate and produce something.

This social media you mention is really the first (non hook up/dating) place where people attempt to hook up with someone. To me, that is a very bad omen and if you are not cautious, then you may be in for a bad surprise.

If he likes thirst trap type of posts he probably thinks the girls are hot. If they're normal posts they could be girls he is friends with. Either way, if you just like him and aren't dating he probably puts no real thought into what he likes and doesn't even expect you to be monitoring his likes. Not saying you're wrong for doing it, it's just guys don't put that kind of thought into stuff so there's no point in overthinking.
