Should I greet him for his birthday tomorrow?

Tomorrow is my crush’s birthday. Lately he’s been acting a little off (ex. the last time I texted him he didn’t respond). Should I still greet him for his birthday?

You are overthinking way too much. Just be yourself, don’t try and play any mind games or whatever and if you want to wish him happy birthday then do it without all this hesitation and anxiety. It’s either gonna work out with him or it’s not no matter what you do or don’t do.

You’re right but I don't know. I don't know if he’s involved with someone now because of how he didn’t reply last time… also seems like he doesn’t want to hear from me as well. Yes, this could be me overthinking but when people start to behave a little off, in my experience, there’s always a reason. I guess I also just don’t want to be ignored again.

You should communicate this with him, see where he’s at so that you can know whether it’s worth having a crush on him at all or moving on. Trust me I get it, being vulnerable is scary, so is rejection under any circumstances, but being turned down is not going to destroy you and at least then you can have some peace of mind. I want to. But I don’t know if it’s a good idea. I just don’t know if he’s involved with someone or not and I want to be respectful. Also, I did last text him when he was still in school. The semester just ended for him. Maybe he was busy. But still, a reply takes 5 seconds. If I’m not worth 5 seconds of your day, that says a lot really.

So he was busy and maybe stressed? First off you're just saying happy birthday, so that's not really stepping anyone's toes, even if he is involved with someone.

We’re not dating. He’s my crush. He seems like he likes me but he could just be nice. We have a little thing going. I eat kinder eggs and he puts the little toys from them on his car console. He sometimes visits me at work (towards the end of my shift so I’m actually free enough to entertain him). He does look at me a lot and has exhibited protective behaviors over me. I remember once I was in the break room talking to my coworker and he came in and walked backwards all the way to his locker as he stared at me and smiled. My friend was like did you see what he just did lol. There’s been times when he’s watched me walk to my car from across the parking lot. He also asks me a million questions about myself.

Since he’s not your man, don’t be desperate to see him or hear from him. Sending a man multiple messages can get on his nerves after a while. Believe me. I’ve been there.
