Guys, How do you view black women in the gym?

As a black woman I'm very insecure at times even though I'm in good shape I don't feel I'm on the same level as these 20 yr olds at the gym considering I'm almost 40. How do you view black women who go to the gym?

I generally don't think about women at all, when I'm at the gym. I'm there to work out, not ogle women.

You really don't have anything to feel insecure about. 95% of guys at the gym don't care what others look like. It's really one of the few non-judgemental places you can go. Old, young, skinny, fat, etc; we're all there to improve ourselves, and we don't really judge anybody else.

More than half the guys to go to the gym. Seem to go there to check out the woman that are there. That's why you see most guys barely lifting any weight we shall call them owls. It has nothing to do with color even though that is nothing wrong with a black woman being in good shape. Also you can't compare yourself to people that are not in your age range

That's what I hate about the gym. I feel like I'm being judged at the gym but guys.

Due to the fact that most guys are perverts. Those guys sign up to a gym with the attention that women are going to wear tight clothing to show off their body and guys that go to the gym for that are simple-minded or just perverts.

It's important for a lot of people to go to the gym. Unfortunately the gym seems to be filled with more guys than women. I think it's amazing when you see women that go to the gym and take care of themselves. For me it's not based on color. It's not right for you to compare yourself to somebody that's half your age. Eventually everybody is going to get to that point where age is a factor. But you cannot let that cripple you or handicap you. You should be proud of the person you are or want to become. Everybody is their own individual

At 37 there's no more need for you to compete or try to be on the same level as a 20 year old. You said you're still in good shape. You're probably still beautiful and have the mature qualities that guys like me appreciate and look for in a woman that the 20 year olds will never have as they haven't lived long enough to face some of the trials life serves you up for you to face. Just be yourself beautiful sweet black lady cuz I'm voting for you!

The gym isn't more of a dating environment than most other venues.

So I view them the same way as black women on a bus stop.

Do your workout, drink some water, take a shower, go home.
