Do you ever get tired of hearing people call women "ladies" when directly talking to them?

This is so old and annoying. You will mostly hear soft, simpy guys saying something like "Ladies, what do you?" or "Ladies, how would you feel..."

Most women are not ladies, and not in today's world anyway. Most neither look or act like one. Not to mention, they aren't ever calling us "gentlemen" or anything like that, so why are we still feeling like we should use some kind of special etiquette when speaking to or about them?

Not really. I don't like to hear it used loosely (as if all women are ladies), however it's something to say when you walk into "brunch with the ladies" for example, or a nice touch when speaking to young women who you've trained and fostered. It implies that they're all grown up and have become nice young ladies.

I'll also occasionally use it as a greeting in an email, but only if I know the recipients well enough to call them "ladies" -- I also don't call them chippies, you know? 😂😂😂

It's habit. It's programming. Kind of like Catholicism. A lot of us were raised to refer to all women as "ladies". It's not until adulthood. Some of us WELL into adulthood that we finally caught on to the bill of goods we were sold.

But what do you call them at that point? Regardless if the way they may act, 40 is too old to call them, "girls". And "females" just sounds too clinical. So understand when guys say ladies. Half the time we don't mean ladies. Half the time it's more like, "ladies".😆

True. We were taught to call them that from a young age, while women were taught to disrespect men and see them as the enemy, so they don't call us gentlemen. And we shouldn't be calling them ladies, only women.

this is why body count matters. I didn't need the manosphere or religion to tell me I didn't want to invest in a girl being passed around. if the bad boy didn't invest in her, why should I or any other man invest in her? to be a safety option?

the cost of living and resources are tight these days. making the right choice has never been more important than ever.

This really is true. Women of today are addicted to using men for whatever they need and then swinging on to the next. Whether it's for attention and validation, money, getting over an ex, or for just plain sex, women simply want to use men up because they are empty inside. It's the reason why they complain about discontent and say that men are easier to please. When you are full of inner emptiness and no personal growth, no personal success you can claim, and because you spend your life trying to get things from others, you WILL be miserable deep down and unable to ever really be happy.

Women are diagnosed with depression more than men, and all that is probably a big reason why.

feminism lowered women's threshold for reasoning and replaced logic with emotion, perpetuating a victim narrative while actually getting privileges

deep down, women know they're privileged but have to convince themselves otherwise or they'll go insane from the guilt hence the depression

the ones who get away with deleting their babies, committing paternity fraud, lying about rape, lying about DV, theft via divorce court, cheating on their partner, being a homewrecker, weaponizing their sexuality for shortcuts in life etc. are now feeling ashamed despite how consistent the sisterhood tries to destigmatize their bad behaviors

whether you're religious or not, there's something to be said about the soul and moral conscience hence why we react the way we do to certain things and women are paying the price for indulging in the worst aspects of their nature

Yes, absolutely. I definitely believe in the soul and moral conscience and I have unpopular ideas about why women often behave the way they do. I think they really are feeling ashamed which is why they try so hard to dignify themselves, as you said.
