It's the feeling of wanting to pinch, squeeze or pretend to want to cute adorable living things. This has happened to me twice in my life.
I was 12 the very first time when my parents got me two German Shepherd puppies. I ended up squeezing them a bit, not in an aggressive way though but the ''omg, you're so adorable, why, why'' type of reaction. I did that to someone else's kitten too. Though I only used to react that way with pets.
Many years later as a now married man, I'm having this same urge towards my 9 month-old daughter. I ended up pinching/squeezing her cheeks or arms sometimes, jokinly say ''I want to eat you up''. Off course I try not to overdo it so it's doesn't annoy her. I never had that reaction towards other babies though, just her.
Is this cute aggression behavior common within men too? I know many women do that a lot but not sure if more of us also do it?
