Yes, dating in the workplace is an extremely tricky idea to pull off because if everything works out then great no problems but if someone gets their feelings hurt, gets rejected, if there's a break up on bad terms then it would likely cause issues at the workplace and performance at your respective careers.

There's also the issues of power Imbalances to be aware of, nobody can date or even casually hook up with a coworker who has any level of authority over them with the question being asked if that authority was the motivating factor in the relationship.

All in all too much of a headache to deal with.

I married the hot single girl in the office. But that was many many years ago, where office romances were much more common. My workplace even had a private room where couples would go for quickies. It was sometimes crowded during lunch.

In today's world, office dating is frowned upon, and can even get a person transferred or fired.

@ChooChooHaha No, it was actually the walk-in vault, where important documents were kept. It was left open all day, only closed at night. I'm pretty sure management knew what it was being used for. In fact, it was known that some managers invited their secretaries to meet there. Remember, this was a long time ago.
