I like this guy and he tells me every minute detail about his personal life, from family to work to future plans. He talks to me a lot about everything and cares about me too but i think he talks about himself more than listen to me talk which confuses me but anyway does he like me? He says 'I love you' once in a blue moon in a goodnight text too which i think just for fun.

Action is always more clear than words. No matter he says what. Do you feel loved? Does he care about you as someone would care for their loved ones? Does he respect you as if you are important for him?

Or his "i love you" only means "I am loving the benifits I'm getting from you". Does his "I love you" is similar to "I love fish" which actually means they love the taste over their tongue or does his "i love you" means, "you are important for me and I value you and I want to add the value in your life more"?
