I met a guy online we messaged for like a few weeks and we met in person. Because I was abroad for a month. We live same city. When talking online we called sometimes and video called maybe 2-3 time. When I was abroad and met online he asked me if we can meet and see where it goes. Then few days before coming back to my city I messaged him if he still wants to meet he said “ I don’t think me even be in a romantic relationship but we can be good friend” . Then when I called him that day I asked why he said that he doesn’t think we can be in a romantic relationship since we haven’t met in person and does he like someone else? He said he didn’t know why he said that “ I don’t think I can be in a romantic relationship with you” and that he didn’t like anyone else.
I came to my city and we met on December 18. I really liked him in person and I felt like he did too. I would catch him staring at me. We ate lunch together went to a coffee place after he insisted paying. He also gave me his gloves because I forgot mine. He would smile at me when we met our eyes.
Before leaving he asked if we can meet in dec 29 again because for Christmas until then he is busy visiting family in another state. I said ok!
When I went back home from meeting this guy I messaged him that “ I am happy I met him and I had a great time” He said “ Yeah, it was nice meeting you in person! I’m glad you enjoyed it”.
Than he messaged me the other day December 19 asking how my day was etc etc.
It since December 19 he doesn’t message me first unless I do.
I don’t know if he likes me , since when we were online he said he doesn’t think we can be in a romantic relationship but how about now that we met in person ! How do I know.. is he supposed to tell me he likes me right?
I don’t know what to do 😟 I’m sad because I really liked him. I don’t think it’s a a good idea I tell him first or ask him.
Or maybe I shouldn’t wait until we meet again on Dec 29?
