Guys, Why do guys do this?

I was interested in this guy who didn't reciprocate back, but once I moved on and got a boyfriend, he was suddenly interested? What is the psychology behind this behaviour? I told him I'm not interested anymore, but he is persistent.

There is a few reasons there could be but I can’t read his mind so all I can do is offer possibilities to the answer.

If he’s a genuine person maybe he just became attracted over time despite not being attracted before. Another thing is that maybe he liked you but didn’t feel ready for a relationship.

On the second hand if he was playing games such as playing hard to get. If he was let’s say… His ego felt good rejecting you but now that you moved on he craves that attention and validation just to go cold on you again once you reciprocate.

It can really be anything just kindly explain that you have a boyfriend and you wish the best for him. Most normal people will accept that and respect that unless he’s one of those people who won’t leave someone alone you may need to be more firm.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but I just needed to see it from a guy's perspective. I wouldn't throw my relationship away for some loser who needs an ego boost.
