All is going well but why did he suddenly stop talking to me?

A week after we've met in personal, he sent me a DM. And since then, we talked a lot. We work in the same office but only meet once or twice a week based on our schedules. He initiated most of the conversations in personal and in chat. And just as I thought that he's interested, it suddenly became quiet after a couple of weeks. He suddenly stopped talking with me in chat. We would still meet though. But I don't know how I'd feel. Why would a guy make me feel as if he's interested and then suddenly withdraw? Or were our interactions really didn't have any meaning?

Often, one thinks that there is a personal vibe when actually there is nothing more than just professional interaction or something less personal and just on a friendship basis.

It seems as if you have a crush on that co-worker and that crush is not reciprocated or at least, he does not return the same feelings as you have for him.

He could also be either too shy to express himself, be in a relationship or just have ended one and it is too early for him to start something new.

He also may have some other priorities or have family issues that take precedence and that he prioritizes. Talk to him on a face-to-face basis and ask for explanations.

He is probably playing tag with you and looking for you to chase him and eventually sleep with him. Best then to do is act like you didn't notice and forget about him. When he comes back, grey rock him and move on. An interested man will make it very clear and you won't be on here questioning why he did this and did that. This is an immature man that will waste your time.
