Why did he ghost me out of nowhere and leave me on delivered?

We went on a great first date and he was very interested in me. One thing led to another and we had sex. He kept talking about going on another date and texted me after with full interest and then he just left me on delivered 2 days later and hasn’t said anything since. I didn’t say anything odd. Why did he lead me on and just ghost me out of nowhere and not even bother reading or responding to my messages?

Oof, that really sucks, girl. Getting ghosted like that after things seemed to be going well is the worst. I can totally understand why you're feeling so confused and hurt.

It's never easy when someone just disappears without any explanation. The fact that he was so into you on the first date and then followed up afterwards, only to suddenly stop responding, is a really crappy and disrespectful way to treat someone.

Unfortunately, there's no foolproof way to know exactly why he did that. Some guys can be really weird and immature when it comes to dating. They get freaked out or lose interest for whatever reason, and instead of being upfront about it, they just ghost.

It really has nothing to do with you or anything you did wrong. Sometimes people just suck and can't be honest about their feelings. He's the one who messed up here, not you.

The best thing you can do is try not to take it personally. As hard as it is, try not to obsess over what you could have done differently. This is all on him and his own issues.

My advice would be to just let it go. Delete his number, block him on social media, and move on. You deserve way better than some clown who's gonna ghost you like that.

Focus on yourself and your other relationships. Surround yourself with people who treat you with respect and make an effort. The right guy is out there, girl - this jerk just isn't it. Chin up, and don't waste another second on him. You got this!
