Why won’t he block his ex?

So me and my boyfriend have been together for some months. Anyways he has a ex that recently followed him on instagram, he requested to follow her back shortly after. Since then she has been liking his stories, she even sent him a DM and quickly deleted before he could see it. He ignores her and hasn’t reached out to her despite her direct out reach towards him. Yet he views all her social stories that she posts? Why won’t he just unfollow/block her? He claims he doesn’t want her.

Yikes, in a way blocking them can feel like they have you beat, like you can't live your life while seeing them live theirs, but veiwing their stuff is a little bit (haventletgo-ish) he probably doesn't want her, but thags because he already has somthing but id be willing to wager a fair amount of money if you left him with her is where you could find him, at least for a short period of time, sorry if that hurts ur feelings or makes you feel uncomfortable, or introduces more doubt in your head, but thats just my honest opinion, he would deny all this if you brought it to him (obviously)

Sound like some trust issues are happening for a good reason seems like a red flag if he won't do something so simple

I think you should make it clear that you don't like it, if he sees her stories he probably still feels something. I believe he will comply with your request. If he doesn't, it will be worrying.
