Is there such a thing of being intimidated by a guys looks that you won't really talk to him, and sort of act standoffish towards him, or maybe act like you don't want to talk to him?

If this is a real thing, what causes this?

My wife says I look intimidating. Muscles, scarface looking, Sparticus chin, Nazi like hair cut, and a mean look on my face.

Guys don't fuck with me because I do look like I'll pick them up and slap them on the ground until their dead and throw them in a garbage can. Chicks don't fuck with me unless I tell them they're sexy and would like to bang them. I think it works out for me... I can't imagine having to learn game or salesmanship skills. That shit would be hard nugga.

Well the fact that this exists the other way around suggests that it probably is a thing. The cause.. well likely the same , fear of being rejected / shunned because you see yourself as “not up to that standard” , he isn’t going to want to talk to someone like me etc

I've never been standoffish to someone because of their looks, but I know i have refused to match with guys who have swiped to match with me because I felt they were out of my league. Probably just my low self esteem there though and nothing the guy did wrong.
