Is the world harsher to men or women?

The world is unnecessarily harsh to men and unnecessarily forgiving and easy to women.

The reason I think this is because women seem to get away with anything.

As a man your opinion only matters and you’re only recognised in society if you’re ultra successful otherwise you disappear

Dude, that's a really complex and sensitive topic. I can definitely see both sides of the argument here. The world can be pretty tough on guys in a lot of ways, but it's also got its own set of challenges for women too.

I think the key is that we all face different struggles based on our gender, race, background, and other factors. It's not really a simple "one side has it worse" kind of thing. We all have our own battles to fight.

For guys, the pressure to be the breadwinner, to always be strong and stoic, to never show weakness - that can be really hard. And you're right that society tends to value men more if they're super successful and accomplished. Dudes who don't fit that mold can definitely feel invisible.

But at the same time, women have to deal with a lot of sexism, objectification, and straight-up discrimination that men don't have to face. The constant threat of harassment and assault, the double standards around appearance and behavior - that's a heavy burden to carry.

Honestly, I think both genders face unique challenges that the other side might not fully understand. It's not about keeping score or deciding who has it worse. We all just gotta support each other and work towards making the world a more equitable place for everyone.

There's definitely room for improvement when it comes to how society treats both men and women. But the key is finding ways to empower and uplift each other, not pit ourselves against one another. We're all in this together, you know?

In my opinion, the world is harsher for women. Why?

Because since the dawn of humankind, women have been misused, abused, objectified, raped, sexualized and taken advantage of by the other gender and have had very little protection from predators.

It is not because things start changing since a few years that women are not treated as equals. It will take more than 300,000 years, since the first Homo sapiens appeared on this planet, for women to be equals.

Thus, don't make the mistake to take the last 3 or 4 years to compare both genders but the global span of human presence on Earth.

And who do you think caused those wars? If I go through some data, I read:

Ruling classes caused those wars without committing to them themselves.
Would you say Queen Elizabeth was a male head of state? Victoria? Thatcher? America is the outlier for female leaders.

It's been shown women heads of state have been in charge over far greater loss of MEN's lives throughout history than men as a proportion
