Mom did not train child to be emotiknally i dependent and form new relationship w woman. Controlling jn some manner. Could be lost mom.
in my opinion there’s a number of things. One could be she left him as a child. Two could be she was overprotective. Three if he was raised by a single mother. Single mothers try to raise a son the way they think a man should be. Which most have no idea what being a man is. So the son grows up w issues. He’s probably more emotional, lets her make the decisions, more likely to depend on her to do things.
an overprotective or emotionally distanced mother... who would use her affection for "discipline"
therapy is the only way to overcome it in a healthy way
Mother who abandoned her child, neglected it or cheating / absent mother.

"Mommy issues" in men, often stemming from early childhood experiences, can manifest as excessive dependence on the maternal figure, difficulty forming healthy relationships, or seeking validation from women, potentially due to unresolved conflicts or attachment issues.
Here's a more detailed look:
Early Childhood Experiences:
The term "mommy issues" often refers to a man's struggles in relationships, potentially stemming from his experiences with his mother during his formative years.
Attachment Styles:
A man's attachment style, shaped by early relationships, can influence his behavior in later relationships.
Insecure Attachment:
If a man's mother was emotionally unavailable, inconsistent, or overprotective, he might develop an insecure attachment style, leading to difficulties in forming healthy relationships.
Unresolved Conflicts:
Unresolved conflicts or issues with his mother can manifest as difficulty with intimacy, trust, or vulnerability in romantic relationships.
Seeking Validation:
Some men might seek validation or approval from women, mirroring their maternal relationships, or harbor resentment or anger towards women due to unresolved conflicts with their mothers.
Over-dependence:
Men with "mommy issues" might exhibit over-dependence on the women in their lives, seeking constant reassurance and approval.
Lack of Self-Identity:
Some men might struggle with a lack of self-identity or independence, potentially stemming from an overly enmeshed or controlling relationship with their mother.
Avoiding Intimacy:
Others might avoid emotional intimacy or connection due to unresolved feelings towards his mother, fearing rejection or abandonment.
Expectations of Women:
A man's expectations of women in relationships can be influenced by his experiences with his mother, potentially leading to unrealistic or unhealthy expectations.
The foundation of our relationships is often laid in early childhood.
You shouldn't want to "overcome" your significant male other's close connection with either of his parents. If you want to mitigate it, perhaps showing more concern and empathy for him and his difficulties in life might help.
I think it probably depends on each individual and what's happened in their lives. Therapy would be a good start
Good question. I was neglected. I'm curious tho
I read something once that said men who are obsessed with boobs weren't breastfeed enough as a child
lol yes I’ve heard that too. And also that men look for the opposite breast size to their moms and sisters in a partner, ie if their mom has huge breasts they’ll go for a girl with smaller/medium ones. But that’s just a theory
I hadn't heard that before but it could be true... neither my mom nor sister are busty and I'm very attracted to woman with a bigger chest
Stuck in the phallic stage of development. Just fuck her and get it over with.
Not being breastfed
I wonder that too. I do t have that
