How do guys feel when they find out a girl thinks there cute?

I'm married and expecting my first child. I'm very happily married and I can't wait to be a mummy.

I'm still currently working and I already struggle with saying stuff without thinking first and now I'm pregnant I'm starting to get baby brain.

I still have eyes even though I'm married and I can appreciate a handsome man whilst staying faithful..

I work with very un politically correct people and today we were playing "who would you rather?" Whilst we were out for work drinks. My friend connor asked me would I rather Dan or Adam. Dan and Adam are both two very handsome young men at my work but I do have a little sweet spot for Dan he's very cute and younger me would be crazy over him but I'm not a creep. Dan is 21 and I'm 27 so big age gap too and I love my husband very much I think I actually like Dan because he looks and acts a lot like my husband at his age and that's why i find him cute.

I responded to connors questions saying "omg Dan all the way, he's gorgeous if I wasn't happily married with a baby on the way, he'd get it". I didn't realise Dan was invited out to drinks too. by the way I just drank coke I'm obviously not drinking lol. Connor and my other work friends burst out laughing and I turn around to see Dan's behind me and heard everything.

Dan went bright red as did I and I apologised. We laughed off the awkward, embarrassing situation and made a quick exit.

I'm just really worried about it being awkward at work between us now and me looking like a bad wife when I wasn't being serious.

I'm considered very pretty and popular at work without sounding up myself so hopefully he doesn't take it badly.

I don't know that was a really inappropriate comment to make to another guy as a married woman. I know you say you were joking but you admit finding these guys attractive in a non-funny way.

It probably was a little inappropriate comment but people at my work are very non PC like I said before it took me a while to get used to that behaviour too to begin with but it's how British people are like they don't take themselves to seriously

I get that you’re trying to keep up with these people and join in on their fun, but my doing so you’re disrespecting your marriage and your husband, which I say with zero disrespect. You have verbally stated and thought to yourself that if you were single, another man could get it. That means you told another man for others to hear, he’d be allowed to fck if you were single. You can’t say this isn’t a disrespect to your hubby and an unnecessary ego boost to that man. Now if he were ever to see your husband, in the back of his mind he knows that he could fck that man’s wife and that she finds him sexually attractive. Your coworkers know this now as well and could one day weaponize that information if god forbid you ruffled any feathers even without any intent of your own. Like you opened a whole can of worms that I think you’re sweeping aside and replacing with this playful mindset of British people being casually flirtatious so you should be as well. In a way I think trying to adopt their mindset is toxifying yours, and maybe you should reconsider how you can carry on with your coworkers without joining in on such topics. I mean that really was avoidable.
