Why would a guy be fighting his feelings for you?

Other than rejection, what else would he be worried about and what would be the signs?

1. He isn't ready yet to have a relationship or he does not want to get involved into any relationship for now.

2. You are different from what his brain wants as his life partner and so he feels like maybe it won't work out so he does not want to take risk.

3. He can't have you but if he gets emotionally attached with you then it will be difficult for him to take U turn when there would be time for seperation.

4. He will marry the person what their parents would approve and you can't be approved by his parents so he does not want to get involved with you.

5. He feels there is something wrong in getting relationship with you like age difference or race difference or whatever reason he believes as wrong to be a couple with you.

Thanks for this, yes I think it could be 3 then potentially. It’s like his head says not to get involved but physically and emotionally he wants to be there. An internal struggle I guess.

They don’t like some aspects of u. They think u wouldn’t make a good partner

Yeah ok, that would make sense but then it’s also like he can’t help himself at certain times, like the attraction is there and draws him back in.

I only fight mine because I know she has problems (not health related) I know better to involve myself with. Never because I was concerned about rejection. That is the least of my concerns.

Yeah fair enough, I think it would be so much easier if this was certain, but other times he’ll want to spend a lot of time with me like he doesn’t want to go, so it’s very confusing.
