Do you think these guys are interested or just think I'm an easy lay?

I am 32 single female and I'm by no means great looking :/ but at work I stepped down from my "career" to be a cleaner and I noticed that 2 guys who never used to pay attention to me at all both started paying attention to me and I feel so confused as to why.. both are good looking but I'm sure they must be married so it got me thinking why the heck are they paying attention to me? And why after I became a cleaner? Or do you think they might just view me as low self-esteem/easy lay/might think I'm crazy and be weird about it type thing lol I don't know what to think. Or they think I'm some humble girl and find that endearing but I don't know what to think. Thanks for any and all opinions.

**And I know they might also just be being nice and curious why I switched and not into me at all but something in the vibes feels like not just your friendly neighbor if you catch my drift.

I should add they never used to speak to me/look at me but once I became a cleaner one suddenly always says Hi and Good Morning and kinda looks at me a lot whereas before he didn't even glance in my direction. The other guy hasn't spoken to me but but I looked up one day and he was looking right at me very pointedly it felt like I don't know it had a vibe to it I'm not sure regardless this all happened after I became a cleaner they're behaviour towards me changed in a oddly positive way.

I think you're putting way too much emphasis on your career change. I can't tell you why they started liking you. I don't know anything about your relation to these guys? Did you continue to work at the same place as your "career" when you became a cleaner? Are these two guys separate or are they friends or something?

I am pretty damn sure it's none of the reasons you wrote here. Not unless they're a couple of psychopaths. Can you please give some more details about these guys and their behavior towards you.

Most importantly, did these people see you at work both in your "career" and as a cleaner? (like you started cleaning the office building where you had already been working at your "career"

Thank for responding. Well it's a big facility but I was a worker on the floor and ones a social worker with their own office the other has their own office as well not sure that ones title but regardless id see them in the hallways sometimes but they never paid attention to me and once I became a cleaner I noticed the social worker always saying hi and good morning all of a sudden and looking at me whereas before it was none of that. And the other one just like seems we have locked eyes a few times and I just get a vibe lol I dunno tho I could be totally wrong but in my mind I was thinking they either just are curious/they think I'm crazy or an easy lay/they find it endearing and makes me approachable but tbh I'm not skinny nor pretty and in my uniform it hides my curves so I look rough so thats why I find the whole thing weird haha.

I won't lie. This is a bit perplexing. I can't help but think that there is some other variable that coincides with the job change... but isn't the job itself.

I do think it's you, who is making some negative assumptions about what a guy might think about you, as a result of the job change. So you think they might think you're crazy or easy, or have low self-esteem. But I don't think that's likely.

So you pre-empted my first idea: That maybe your actually able to appear at your best dressed as a cleaner. But ok, you're pretty clear that it's the opposite. Fair enough.

Now you mentioned that these guys are probably married. That does make a difference in terms of their likely intentions. It's flirting for sure, but it's not flirting with the same intent as if they were single. It's the difference between someone being nice in a flirty way they don't intend to mean anything beyond the moment; and someone flirting with you thinking it might go somewhere.

Either way though, the problem remains. So are you happier since you changed jobs? DId you change jobs for some way which might make someone feel either badly for you (You got screwed) or did you do it in a way that anyone might admire?

Do you smile more now? Were you angrier before?

Is there a culture of professionalism, or fear of being accused of sexual harassment possibly present between your position on the floor and their positions? Are you, in their way more (like this guy is now passing you every day on his way for a morning snack or something)?

Are you happier? is what I keep coming back to (for no reason in particular)

Some people are just desperate to sleep with anyone they can get their hands on. I think what tests what someone’s wanting is if they initiate sex as well as leave if sex is not given to them. To go off and find someone willing to give it.

Unfortunately many people just will also sleep with anyone. So it’s kind of two sided unless it’s rape or sodomy. It takes two people to have sexual relations.
