Do guys ever parade their new girlfriend on social media to get back at you?

If a guy who liked you was jealous about another guy hitting on you, would he potentially do this or is he generally happy to parade his new girlfriend on social media?

Do you post your partner on social media or not bother? Is he trying to make a point or just really happy to have show the world his new girlfriend?

Probably a little from collum A and a little from collum B. Could also be the girlfriend. My girlfriend at the beginning would send a picture to my phone when we were both at some kid events wanting somehow to bother her.
