Guys, how do you resist temptation?

If you have a partner, but have mutual attraction with someone else, how do you resist temptation? Why strategies do you employ to avoid going there?

I don't currently have a partner but even still there are times I have to restrain myself like for instance myself and a salesgirl from my office were in both in Manhattan on business and we happened to stay in the same hotel so obviously we had dinner together along with a few drinks and she made it very clear she wanted to sleep with me. Now office relationships even ones on the sly are never a good idea not in the long run. Now this woman is about 30 and extremely beautiful and very sexy looking but she also happens to be married so as much as I wanted to oblige her and sleep with her as I imagined the sex would be wild I graciously declined as I had report I had to do and she said well if you change your mind just knock on my room door which was across the hall from mine. I was extremely tempted but did my reports and masturbated, had a shower and jumped into bed before I could change my mind.

Simple, I'll be in love with the woman I'm with, the only temptation I'll truly have is for her. Now me, I'm single through the power of God I easily deal with temptation, I tell myself "am I truly deserving of the woman I'm asking for" on top of that I truly try to follow the Bible which shows a lot of morals and it helps me stay in check, I'm always bettering myself and concentrating on what's truly important (glory to God)... Not lust, not negativity, not greed. I always tell myself "am I deserving of being with God's daughter" that will always straighten me up...

The Bible helps with A LOT more than just lust, negativity and morality, it's truth and it's a lifestyle you genuinely could never go wrong with.

You aren't emotionally healthy if you get tempted at all while in a relationship. Once you are in a healthy relationship no one else is even slightly tempting.
