A few days ago i was texting my friend like we usually do, we were having fun and everything and i sent him a drawing i did and all he said was "I love you" all i could reply was 😊and i had to read his message over and over again just to make sure but moments later he messaged me "oops meant to say love it sorry lol but i like the drawing" and i'm wondering if he did misspelled it or if he meant it but he's just giving me a really bad excuse bc how can someone mistaken like it to i love you?

I just want someone opinion, i do love him and he knows that but we are online friends.

I think he meant to say "I love you" to you as friends only. Nowadays I suppose friends also say I love to you to each other.
