My boyfriend hasn’t said I love you yet?

We have been together for 9 months almost 10 and neither one us had said i love you yet. He keeps saying he likes me so much but hasn’t said love yet and I didn’t wanna be the first to say it. We have been long distance so I don’t know if this affects anything. But is this concerning that he hasn’t said it yet? If he doesn’t feel it at this point will he ever?

No idea, I've had several women say it to me first and I welcomed it. I think this goes back to women being terrified about even the possibility of rejection.
